Established in May 2006 with its Head Office located in 14th Avenue Houghton, Johannesburg where it started its operations. Ucmas South Africa owns the national franchise for the abacus brain development programme which was pioneered in Malaysia in1993.
UCMAS South Africa meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 certified in Malaysia and is the only programme approved and certified by the two major Mental Arithmetic and Abacus Institutes of the world, including the Chinese Utility Abacus Research Society (TAIWAN) AND TAIWAN MENTAL ARITHMETIC ASSOCIATION.
